Taking a break

I figured I may as well post about this now before leaving it and forgetting about it. Since last posting an update on the Serena Flash parody thing, I've added a little more to it in my free time, but then stopped. I've been busy lately with getting a job and doing some other stuff in the background, as well as thinking in my own time how I'm going to finish this parody, so I don't know when I'll return to it.


Some things I want to do are:

1) Replace the robot fuck transition with 1 of clemonts robots

2) Replace the forehead-hand mutation clip with the camera zooming out of Clemont with him saying something about science (as he does in the anime), which requires frame-by-frame tracing of whatever looks good in the anime (which is what ZONE did for this animation)

3) Include some good grunting sounds for Serena (It shouldn't be too hard, if anything I'll be spoiled for choice)

4) Re-size the kid by tweaking the animation to match Clemont (Fixing Serena's arms, hair and other bits are annoying as is)

5) Have the orgasm a giant explosion... or maybe just save that for the '-100' joke ZONE loves to do so much, I'm not sure yet

6) There are probably other things I'm forgetting, but you get the idea

1 crucial thing I need to do to achieve some of the above is pretty juch re-watch the Pokémon X&Y anime (plus XY & Z)

I've lost count of the hours I've spent working on this Porkyman animation so far, mostly because I keep running into problems. First of all, I want this to look good. My first attempt at converting Haruko into Serena was horrifying. She was the epitome of boner killers.

Second, I'm having to redo the animation in places (frame by frame positioning) as by default, Serena's hair and arms float like chopped up pieces of a person.

Third, I'm having to work out how this was coded (all the code has been removed from the file by Flash Decompliler Trillix), but still tells me what it is/where it belongs), by working out what references what, how it affects it, and how to better it as the language was writting in ActionScript 1.0? and I'm using ActionScript 3.0. It's a bit more complicated than changing some syntax from one format to another, you have to look out for code on buttons (not supported in AS3), code on Text boxes (also not supported), and other stuff like define variables at the start of the Flash file (as you didn't ever have to define anything in AS 1.0 & AS 2.0)

Fourth, Flash Decompliler Trillix is buggy as shit (But to be fair, I am using the free trial version). Some vector graphics go missing, some become miscoloured, some animation frames are placed incorrectly, animations (tweens) are missing (instead it converts the inbetween frames to regular keyframes), the trial version only allows for greyscale graphics (So I have to recolour everything), ActionScript code is removed, and it adds hundreds of layers to the main stage (I have no idea why).

Last but not least, fifth. Assuming everything above gets fixed, this Interactive Flash Game is quite lengthy, with it's many options, spoken dialogue (and jokes, which I know EXACTLY how to translate into Porkyman), this is going to take a while to complete. When I manage to get Clemont implemented as simply as Serena (Working in at least 1 scene), then i'll probably post another screenshot.

Lately I've just started working on a small project, where I'm reskinning Z0NE's Haruko parody to look like Clemont and Serena from Pokémon. Whether or not I end up finishing it, or whether or not I can upload it to Newgrounds is a mystery to me, but hopefully I'll know soon.

Since the last update, this file has been sat on my computer not doing much, and I have come back to it several times thinking of new stuff to add but either don't have the right mindset or the time, and I really don't know if I'll ever finish this. Maybe 1 day, after I'm done with Uni I'll return but for now I think I should just get this out there, even though it's a barely funtional prototype, only because I've pretty much been teasing people about it for over 2 years.


Here's the dumping grounds link to the FLA: If someone else wants to finish this, that's fine and they can go ahead but trust me when I say it's a pain in the ass due to the implemention of code XD It is cool though as you can control her eyes and mouth during other animations. Some of the animations/buttons are glitchy so if anything game breaking happens, just re-execute the SWF file. To open this file, you'll need Adobe Flash CS3 or later.


When I first made this flash, it was in responce to the limited amount of adult themed Princess Peach content on Newgrounds, but over the progression of this game, naturally more appeared on the site. That isn't the reason I stopped, it's just the file got really laggy, as well as my patience grew short moving limbs 1 by 1, tweeing them, then coding in the timing of eyes/mouth movements for the executed file...Uggh, I gave myself too much work. I even planned to have alternative camera angles of Peach but I couldn't quite get her face to look right. Ah well.

Anyways, if you liked it, send me a message. I don't use Newgrounds (if anything, once a year), so I'll see it eventually. 


I'm getting closer to finishing the background. I've been putting off adding any new animations at the moment because of a bunch of reasons, one of the reasons is I'm thinking about making different angles for the limbs rather than them being static, but I just don't know right now. But everything else looks ok.

I need to re-create the animations since each part (eg, head, jaw, eye, arm1, etc) is a movieclip containing 4 frames, 1 for each colour. And because these are all tweened, you get a graphical glitch where Flash has to quickly set the part to the right frame, and you end up seeing the default colour of Peach for 1 frame everytime that body part is re-used. Also the Eye and Mouth are the most complex bits at the moment, it's crazy to keep track of.

Some minor progress

It's been a while since I last did anything to this. To be honest I nearly considered dropping the project, but then a small spark of inspiration occured. I thought about changing the scenery to none other than Peach Beach from Mario Kart Double Dash. It was the perfect setting, so I quickly drew a template and realised I could use the 'mph' gauge as a sex drive gauge for Peach, with 100% being an orgasm.


These are basic graphics for now, but when finished, the background will look like a cell shaded version of this view in Peach Beach. As for finishing the animations, I'm still around 50% done, and it takes a while due to this being CPU heavy (in preview mode), and the fact that the animations are partly dynamic. You can control her eyes and mouth with the buttons on my debug controller. I might make it an easter egg, who knows, I'm bursting wth ideas at the moment.

Because the last image looked like it was going to be a different kind of game, here's a snapshot of the actions panel: g

So far Rub has 2 out of 3working functions, Thrust has 2 functions, Cowgirl has 1 function (I might add a second), Doggie I don't think is finished yet, and Oral doesn't work, but is almost finished (just sorting out the mouths using Actionscript). There is also an unpolished orgasm animation for Thrust if you get the top-right number up to 100.
